Ga Ga Goo Goo
So, last night I had the chance to see my favorite band, the Goo Goo Dolls, perform at the URI's Ryan Center. This is actually my third time seeing the group and I have to say they have yet to disappoint. The opening act was a Boston band called the Tim Blane Band. Their sound was a mix of rock with soul, sounding a bit like Train but distinct enough to stand on their own. After a few sets the group set downed to the headliners of the night. The Dolls played a lot of songs off their new album "Something For the Rest of Us" including "Home." I admit that alot of my favorite Goo Goo songs are off their older albums. I am always excited to hear "Iris" and "Slide", and my favorite song "Name." Watching the Dolls last night reminded me of the first time I saw them in Providence back when they performed with Bon Jovi, another amazing band to see perform live. And did I mention how hot the lead singer, Johnny Rzeznik, is? I've had a crush on him since I was 14 (sick I know, but I can't help myself). Anyways, I highly suggest checking out the Dolls new album. Now if I could only get to see Tom Petty live, I think I would be totally satisfied
