My return to the Ocean State

It's official. I have moved back to Rhode Island (temporarily at least). You may be asking what's the big deal?  Well nothing, other than the fact that I spent the last 4 months living in Los Angeles partying at the hottest venues with the hottest celebrities in Hollywood.  I attended the MTV VMA's and even partied with Trey Songz at his Def Jam Mansion Party.  I've met will.i.am, Usher, Rick Ross, the Kardashian girls, Jason Derulo and too many more to list.  Actually the last few years have been quite entertaining.  I've lived in 6 states in the past 5  years including Boston, Manhattan, and Los Angeles.   My dream is to be an entertainment host and at the age of 24, I've finally decided its time to make it happen. How will I do this you ask?  Well one thing I learned while living in LA is that the competition is extreme! Everyone (literally) is an aspiring actor/actress, meaning hosting gigs are hard to come by.  So, it is my plan to differentiate myself from the competition by experience, meaning actual work experience. I already have a background in entertainment PR and some production experience as well.  While in LA I had the chance to intern at both an entertainment PR firm, Rogers and Cowan as well as for a TV Host. I got to learn the ropes and see what sets apart the weak from the strong and the doers from the wanters.  This blog is an account of my life and will follow me through my attempts to making it in the entertainment industry.  Stay tuned for some action packed encounters from Drea herself.
